Course information
The class will explore individual and family systems development within the context of a Caribbean nation. The course focuses on agriculture and social development across the country. Students will learn about the role of agriculture in this multicultural society, visit various types of farms, and interact with agencies and other organizations relevant in this economic industry.
The unique structure of the class will allow students to complete the course in one month (Maymester).
Students can earn 3-6 hours of course credit. Students will ultimately be registered for AEE 497. Students should contact the instructor directly for enrollment in the course and to discuss any issues related to course credits.

Program costs are based on a minimum of 8 students.

Lodging $750
Program fees $450

Flights will be booked as a group to ensure the best rates. Depending upon the fares, the group may leave from either BWI, IAD, or DCA.
Lodging is based on double occupancy and will be in a safe and clean environment.
Program fees will cover the cost of entrance fees, internal transportation, and other related costs while in country.
**Best estimate fee-- could change due to price fluctuations with airlines and lodging facilities.
Students are responsible for all incidentals (souvenirs, personal hygiene products, snacks, and any other miscellaneous items.
Complete ALL items (type or print legibly), sign, and return completed application form with a check or money order of $500.00 (non-refundable) as an application fee. This fee will be applied to the program cost and an account will be established under your name in the CAS Study Abroad Office for all subsequent payments.
Your deposit of $500.00 and all other payments must be made directly to Ketja M. Lingenfelter.
